First in the World Treatment: Cancer Breakthrough
Researchers at TAU have developed a revolutionary CRISPR-based genome editing system treatment that destroys cancer cells, causing permanent damage to the cancer with potentially no side effects. The treatment increases life expectancy in brain and ovarian cancer patients and is a significant step on the way to finding a cure for cancer. Arab-Islamic History: From Tribes to Empires, a course at TAU's Innovative Learning Center, has been ranked one of the top 50 "Best Online Courses" in the world. The class has registrations of over 20,000 students from 155 countries including students in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and other Muslim countries, including those with no diplomatic relations with Israel.
