Breakthrough in the Battle Against Brain Cancer

Groundbreaking research from Professor Ronit Satchi-Fainaro's lab may lead to a breakthrough in the fight against Glioblastoma, the deadliest brain cancer. Anti-Semitism During the Pandemic

The Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry at Tel Aviv University has published its annual Anti-Semitism Report for 2020, finding that while physical violence was down, there has been a significant increase in desecrations of synagogues and graveyards and intensified anti-Semitism on the web. Virus Variants and Vaccines

A joint study by Tel Aviv University and the Clalit Research Institute found that the South African variant of COVID-19 is more likely to break through the protective effect of two doses of the Pfizer vaccine compared to the British COVID-19 variant. Although this news might cause some concern, the research team has found that the reduction in effectiveness against Coronavirus is not extreme. READ MORE
