Antisemitism Worldwide Report Released
The annual Antisemitism Worldwide report published by The Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry at Tel Aviv University (TAU) and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) found that visibly identifiable Jews, particularly Haredi Jews, are the main victims of antisemitic assaults in the West. While 2021 set a new high for antisemitic incidents, with the coronavirus pandemic fueling a worldwide rise in antisemitism, "in some countries, most alarmingly the United States, it intensified" in 2022. Anxiety and Technology
A new technology-driven treatment for social anxiety relieved the symptoms of 50% of participating patients. According to Professor Yair Bar-Haim, whose lab conducted the clinical trial, this new therapy has an efficacy similar to the first-line drug treatments currently available. The researchers hope that this therapy will soon be available as an effective alternative to psychiatric medications. WATCH THE VIDEO

Influencers
Professor Karen Avraham, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Professor Illana Gozes, also from the Faculty of Medicine, have been named vital influencers for their contributions to Israel and the world. Professor Avraham was named one of Globes' 50 Most Influential Women in Israel and Professor Gozes has been named by Israel 21C as one of the 48 Israelis shaping the world. READ MORE
